The Albina Weed & Seed works to develop partnerships, leverage resources, and focus efforts in the neighborhoods of Arbor Lodge; Boise; Eliot; Humboldt; Kenton; King; Overlook; Piedmont; Sabin; Vernon; and Woodlawn. Albina Weed & Seed utilizes the following strategies.

Community Information Grants to Albina Weed & Seed Community Groups
Deadline: Friday, July 15, 2005
Safety Grants which were due November 2004 were awarded in January
2005
to projects in the following neighborhoods: Boise, Eliot, King, Overlook,
Vernon, and Woodlawn. Thanks to everyone who participated.
Residents, individuals, and agencies that serve Albina are encouraged to attend and participate in monthly Steering Committee Meetings the second Thursday of each month. Meetings start with dinner (which is provided) at 5:30 p.m. and the meeting runs from 6-7:00 p.m.
Please contact Site Coordinator Megan Jolly at (503) 823-0017 or Community Liaison Damon Miller at (503) 823-5785 for specific meeting locations and additional information. Usually, the meetings are held at the Northeast Precinct on the corner of Martin Luther King and Killingsworth. ;
